So remember this photo and the controversy it stirred up about what NECA’s Portal Gun would look like? Well, now you can put those fears to rest in the Extended Relaxation Annex.
With only a few days before the Toy Fair 2012 convention (February 12 - 15), a picture NECA’s prototype of their Portal Gun has surfaced!
When asked if there would be two versions of the Portal Gun, one with different colors and one with changing lights, NECA replied on Twitter with:
“[It will have a] 2 way switch for Red and for Blue and Sounds - does it all”
When asked how much the gun is estimated to cost, NECA replied:
“in the $120.00 range. Full details and specs next week at #toyfair”
While $120 might seem a bit expensive, it is still a far cry cheaper than the custom models being sold for around $3000
I’m not sure what a release quarter is, but this tweet seems to imply that the Portal Gun will be released in April!
